La storia di Voilà le Vélo comincia in Inghilterra nel 2012 con l’apertura di uno shop online di intimo ‘hand-made to order’ e prosegue in Italia nel 2019 quando la proprietaria apre un atelier a Bologna in cui si vende lingerie interamente realizzata a mano. L’approccio etico, consapevole e incentrato sull’unicità di ogni capo realizzato (e personalizzato) a mano si intreccia con i metodi tradizionali eco-sostenibili messi in atto dal brand, specializzati anche in lingerie matrimoniale.

Francesca Dallamotta sulla carta sarebbe una fisica. E' stato attraversando la Manica che qualcosa è cambiato e adesso eccola qua, nel suo atelier bolognese dal sapore retrò, a creare con seta, cotone e tulle (rigorosamente francese) quelli che lei definisce poeticamente dei "messaggi segreti da portare sotto le gonne" cercando di far tornare a galla quel passato così delicatamente evocato dagli stili dei capi appesi alle grucce, fatto di lavorazioni a mano con tessuti (il quanto più possibile) naturali e personalizzabili.
